Getting more and more into the Christmas spirit ^^ So for my recent bake of red velvet cupcakes (yes, A.G.A.I.N), I tried to do up some Christmassy deco (yes, A.G.A.I.N as well)
My younger girl loves my RV cupcakes since I first baked them around 2 years back. In fact, my kids love them so much that they found mine nicer than all those they have tried in US. That’s a really high compliment for me (#^^#) I must thank a good friend, Karen (who is an excellent baker and we conferred her the title “Cupcake Queen”) for first sharing her recipe with us on the facebook group. Here’s the link for the recipe for those who would like to try this awesome recipe.
Here are some of my past bakes with this recipe ^^ Confession: I have baked them so many times that I have lost count (#^^#), coming close to the number of times I bake chiffon cakes. RV cupcake is also something my younger girl would request for her birthday and all other times when she simply has the craving for it
And last year in 2013, my alma mater was coming up with a school calendar featuring recipes contributed by staff, old girls, etc. I was happy to be helping up with the cooking and baking ^^ My role was to replicate all these recipes for the photo-session. Together with a few other good pals from PSG (Parent Support Group), we had fun in the school kitchen for two days, whipping up the dishes. There was a Red Velvet recipe in it, and I was glad to be entrusted to bake the cupcakes. It is another awesome recipe. In this recipe, there is a hidden surprise (^O^) You actually add a dollop of nutella as filling in each of the cupcakes! Yummiilcious level up! Thanks so much, Gillian 学妹!
These are the cupcakes I have baked with the recipe.

Once again, have a Merry & Jolly Christmas to all!
